The useful takeaway

Your personal brand sets an expectation, your reputation records the experience and your influence reflects how much people trust your judgement.

02 · Apply

Your short exercise

  1. List three qualities or promises you use to describe yourself.
  2. Pair each one with a recent behaviour that another person actually experienced.
  3. Choose one promise to keep, repair or strengthen through an observable action.
Worked example
“I describe myself as dependable, but two people had to chase updates. My repair is a weekly open-loop review and earlier risk communication.”
